A premier professional trade association, the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) promotes and supports student and youth travel across the globe. The SYTA Youth Foundation (SYF), its philanthropic arm, connects youth with essential travel resources, inspiring cultural awareness and global responsibility through programs like the Road Scholarship and the "World is a Classroom" essay contest. SYF has awarded over $1.5 million in scholarships and programs. Further initiatives include Teach & Travel, a resource for educators planning student trips; SYTA Student Travel Research, which conducts independent studies on industry trends; and the Center for Student Travel Safety, which leads in enhancing health protocols and crisis readiness.
