Growing up in Chennai, India, I always had a deep curiosity about different cultures, though I never initially considered travel as a career. I pursued degrees in electrical engineering and business management, which led me to a fulfilling career in the tech industry with Oracle in California. I spent years climbing the corporate ladder, achieving recognition and promotions, but I felt something was missing. After retiring from the tech industry, a chance encounter in San Diego reminded me of my long-held interest in travel. A conversation with a fellow hotel guest, who was a travel advisor, sparked the idea of turning my passion into a second career. In the fall of 2022, I joined Fora and began my journey to become a certified travel advisor, quickly reaching Pro certification within a year. My background in customer and partner management has seamlessly translated into my role as a travel advisor. Building relationships and ensuring clients have exceptional experiences are what I thrive on. I focus on creating sustainable and immersive travel experiences, appreciating the importance of understanding the culture of each destination and allowing ample time for exploration. Having moved several times during my life, I understand the value of experiencing different environments and how it shapes one's perspective. I am dedicated to tailoring travel plans to meet the unique needs and interests of each client, ensuring a seamless and memorable journey.
