Luxury rail tour operator offering multi-day journeys through the landscapes of Colorado and Utah. Part of the Armstrong Collective – the company behind Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer train – Canyon Spirit draws on more than three decades of hospitality experience to shape its routes in the American Southwest. The operator focuses on immersion and observation. Trains feature glass-dome coaches, oversized windows, and outdoor viewing platforms for panoramic views of the passing scenery. Onboard hosts narrate the journey with stories of the region’s history and geology, a service complemented by regionally-inspired cuisine and paired wines. The primary route, Rockies to the Red Rocks, runs between Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah, with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs. Beginning in 2026, Canyon Spirit will exclusively brand all Southwest journeys and introduce a new three-day itinerary that extends to Salt Lake City. This strategic expansion aligns the operator’s high-end service more closely with the specific culture and rugged environment of the region.
