An immersive dining event that recreates the world of the BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers, placing audiences directly into the narrative as guests in the titular restaurant. The experience combines a three-course meal with interactive theatre, served by actors portraying Basil, Sybil, and Manuel. With approximately 70% of each two-hour performance being unscripted, the show relies heavily on improvisation, ensuring the action remains unpredictable. Originating in Brisbane, Australia, in 1997, the production has since toured 43 countries, performed in over 1,000 venues, and entertained more than a million guests worldwide. In 2012, it became the first show to transfer from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to London's West End. There, it established itself as the district’s longest-running immersive production and the longest-running show adapted from a television series. Managed by Interactive Theatre International, the experience earned the Group Leisure & Travel Award for Best Group Dining Experience in 2023.
