Anuradha Goyal

Anuradha Goyal is an Indian blogger, author, and public speaker who founded the travel blog IndiTales in 2004. Extensive childhood travels across India, influenced by her father's transferable job, shaped her early explorations, which followed a decade-long career in Information Technology where she led innovation initiatives. Through IndiTales, a bilingual platform, Goyal shares detailed accounts of her journeys across India and eighteen other countries. The blog features over a thousand articles, thousands of images, and hundreds of videos, with a growing focus on pilgrimages and ancient Indian traditions. Goyal's work extends beyond her blog. She is the author of eight books, including "The Mouse Charmers – Digital Pioneers of India" and "Lotus in the Stone – Sacred Journeys in Eternal India," alongside additional works exploring Indian temples and scriptures. A prolific literary critic, she has reviewed over seven hundred books, a volume recognized by the Limca Book of Records. She also serves as a consultant in Business Innovation, teaches Yatra Traditions at Banaras Hindu University, and hosts the "Detours with Anuradha Goyal" podcast, dedicated to ancient Indian travel.
