Based in World
As a Croatian-American historian and travel author, I have dedicated my life to exploring and sharing the rich cultural tapestry of Croatia. Born and raised in Chicago, I spent every summer in Dalmatia, immersing myself in its history, cuisine, and traditions. This deep connection led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Croatian history at the University of Oxford, where I focused on the life and works of poet Tin Ujević. In 2020, I authored "A Sensible Guide to Split & its Islands," a cultural guidebook that delves into the history, culture, and culinary delights of the region. The book features interviews with locals, essays from regional writers, and beautiful illustrations, offering readers an authentic and comprehensive experience of Dalmatia. Currently based in Berlin, I continue to share my passion for Croatian culture through my work as a travel advisor. I specialize in European destinations, particularly Croatia, and have a keen interest in food, wine, arts, and culture. As a mindful traveler, I embrace authentic experiences, boutique accommodations, and memorable meals that reflect the essence of each place. Whether you're seeking a historical journey through Split's ancient sites, a culinary adventure in the vineyards of Hvar, or an exploration of the arts and culture that define Croatia, I am here to craft personalized itineraries that bring your travel dreams to life.
