A fixture in Skiathos town since 1975, the four-star Alkyon Hotel recently completed a 2.7-million-euro renovation that modernized its facilities while consciously preserving its original 1970s architectural character. Following its 2021 acquisition by the Dervenis family group, the project updated all 94 rooms and public spaces with a design that incorporates natural materials and a blue-green color palette. The hotel’s amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a main restaurant serving Greek and international dishes, the à la carte "Carnayo" Mediterranean restaurant, and a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the town. Operations are grounded in a philosophy of high-quality Greek hospitality, supported by a significant investment in staff accommodation and several quality certifications – including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and the "Greek Breakfast" standard.
