Lindsey Tramuta

Lindsey Tramuta is a Paris-based culture and travel journalist, author, and podcaster. A Philadelphia native, she became a French citizen in 2006 after making Paris her home. Tramuta's work offers insightful explorations of contemporary French life, challenging stereotypes and highlighting emerging trends. In 2009, she launched the popular expat blog, *Lost In Cheeseland*, where she delves into less conventional subjects, from food and wine to pastry, coffee, beer, fashion, and design, across Paris and France. Her journalistic contributions have appeared in numerous international publications, including *The New York Times* and *Condé Nast Traveler*. Tramuta has authored several books that explore the evolving identity of Paris. Her 2017 book, *The New Paris: The People, Places & Ideas Fueling a Movement*, documented the city's transformation over a decade, earning recognition from Smithsonian Magazine. Her second book, *The New Parisienne: The Women & Ideas Shaping Paris* (2020), challenges the romanticized archetype of the Parisian woman by profiling over forty diverse female activists, creators, and visionaries. She also hosts *The New Paris Podcast*, expanding on themes from her books. Her upcoming works include *The Book of Rosé* (2024) and *The Eater Guide to Paris* (2025).
