Matt Stabile

Matt Stabile, a Penn State Law School graduate and former White House Intern, practiced law for seven years before shifting to an entrepreneurial path. He founded The Expeditioner, an online travel magazine launched around 2006, and served as its editor-in-chief. The platform, rich with articles and videos, quickly established itself as a trusted resource for avid travelers. As an early adopter of video content, Stabile utilized YouTube to draw hundreds of thousands of views, also exploring opportunities for a travel show. His commitment to authentic content was evident in his prolific writing – sometimes two posts daily – and extensive travels to over 40 countries. The Expeditioner accumulated more than seven million total visits. In 2014, Stabile co-founded Averity, a technology recruitment firm where he serves as COO and leads its Data Science and Data Engineering team. Additionally, he founded and serves as President of Stabile Search, a New York City-based firm specializing in Quantitative Finance, AI, and Data Science recruitment. Across these roles, he draws upon over a decade of recruitment experience, building strong relationships and providing personalized service to match top talent with leading companies. His work also extends to public speaking and writing, with a focus on data science recruitment, the job search process, and talent acquisition. His philosophy emphasizes aptitude and ability over past experience, alongside a commitment to fostering a supportive work environment.
