Ferdz Decena

Ferdz Decena, a travel photographer, writer, and blogger based in the Philippines, operates the platform "Ironwulf En Route." For over two decades, he has documented his journeys through travel stories, photography, and videos. His work primarily explores the diverse landscapes, cultures, and experiences within the Philippines, alongside a wide range of destinations across Southeast Asia, including Nepal, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Hong Kong. After graduating from Far Eastern University in the Philippines, Decena worked as an Art Director before transitioning to freelance photography. He also co-founded Backpack Photography Workshops, a venture through which he guides aspiring photographers in capturing the natural beauty of diverse locations. His approach to travel photography emphasizes a "sense of place," focusing on personal perception and natural mood rather than just landmarks or excessive post-processing.
