Nele Hout is a full-time travel blogger, content creator, and writer behind The Navigatio, an online platform dedicated to Japan travel. Originally from the Netherlands, she moved to the UK at eighteen, where she pursued a BA in English and Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2017, during her second year of studies, she launched The Navigatio. Nele collaborates with local writers and her husband, Richard Caddock, who actively contributes to the platform's content and its associated YouTube channel. She has also cultivated a substantial online community, particularly through a Facebook Japan travel planning group that has expanded to more than five hundred thousand members. Her work has been featured in publications such as Good Housekeeping, and she has contributed to British Airways, FOCUS Magazine, and Love to Visit. Nele maintains full creative control, generating revenue through affiliate marketing and on-site advertisements for services and products she recommends.
