James Blick, a New Zealander, established Spain Revealed to help individuals explore and understand the country more deeply. His journey with Spain began in 2011 upon moving to Madrid. Early in his career, Blick shared his knowledge of Spanish food, history, and culture, writing for publications such as *The Guardian*, *Sunday Times*, and *El País English*. He also provided insights into Spanish life on television channels including CBS, BBC, and Channel 4. In 2012, he co-founded Devour Tours, an award-winning food tour company that introduced over 100,000 travelers to local culinary experiences. He has since stepped back from its daily operations. Building on this foundation, Blick launched the Spain Revealed YouTube channel in 2013. The channel now attracts hundreds of thousands of views monthly, offering comprehensive travel guides, tips on tapas and wine, and observations on Spanish life. Beyond tourism, Spain Revealed also includes the "Move to Spain Masterclass," an eight-week program guiding individuals through the process of relocating to Spain. This masterclass provides practical advice on property, taxes, banking, healthcare, and bureaucracy, presenting both the appealing and challenging aspects of life in Spain.
