Ivory Vogt specializes in sustainable tourism, combining her expertise as a travel advisor with a deep commitment to environmental preservation and community equity. Raised biculturally between Palau and Germany, she developed an early understanding of diverse cultures and a passion for protecting destinations. Her work is grounded in a Master of Science in Tourism, Environment, and Development from King's College London and her licensure as a Climate Change Professional. This academic and professional foundation underpins her conviction that well-managed tourism can be a powerful tool for sustainable development. As Program Manager for Climate & Resilience at Sustainable Travel International, Vogt promotes climate-friendly travel, guiding businesses and destinations in measuring, reducing, and offsetting their carbon footprints. Her extensive experience includes serving as Palau's first sustainable tourism consultant, where she contributed to initiatives aimed at making the nation a carbon-neutral tourism destination. She has advised island leaders, collaborated with over one hundred travel companies, co-authored the UN Coastal Tourism Breakthrough, and participated as an Article 6 negotiator for Palau at COP27. As a travel advisor with Fora Travel, she specializes in crafting authentic and sustainable experiences, focusing on Palau, Germany, boutique travel, and itineraries for digital nomads.
