Mark Wiens is an American travel and food influencer, vlogger, and television host based in Bangkok, Thailand. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1986, he experienced extensive international travel during his upbringing, including time in France, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Kenya due to his parents' missionary work. This diverse background fostered an early passion for global exploration and varied culinary experiences, which he further developed while earning a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies from Arizona State University in 2008. Wiens began his professional journey in 2009 with Migrationology.com, a blog dedicated to gastronomic adventures. In 2011, while based in Bangkok, he launched his YouTube channel, quickly gaining recognition for in-depth explorations of international street food and authentic local cuisine. His content features an enthusiastic demeanor and a distinctive passion for unique flavors. Beyond showcasing dishes, he captures the cultural context and stories behind the food, encouraging a deeper understanding of cultures through their cuisine. He also maintains a second blog, Eating Thai Food, and has published e-books such as "Eating Thai Food Guide."
