Jiyeon Juno Kim, known as Juno, is a travel blogger, photographer, and storyteller from Seoul, South Korea. In 2011, she transitioned from a career as a mechanical engineer to become a full-time digital nomad, documenting experiences across more than 60 countries. Her platform, Runaway Juno, captures diverse cultures and landscapes, ranging from the traditional life of the Borneo rainforest to the Northern Lights of Alaska. While her work often highlights adventure travel, she specializes in regions like Alaska, South Korea, and the Nordic countries, with a recent focus on family travel. Beyond her blog, Juno founded and hosted the Asian Women's Empowerment (AWE) conferences, aimed at empowering women to pursue passions and share stories. She also authored "Runaway Juno's Pursuit of Happiness: The World is Waiting," a book detailing her journey of embracing an unconventional lifestyle. After nearly a decade of continuous travel, she settled in Anchorage, Alaska, in 2017. She continues her storytelling through her blog and her consulting agency, Ovibos Consulting Co., where she helps brands craft their unique narratives. Her work emphasizes travel's transformative power, fostering deeper understanding and compassion across cultures.
